What is it?

Visual Liquid is designed with a new and innovative water management system. The technology includes automatic and optical control sensors that allow complete water cycling and creative programming automation. The water modules are manufactured in 600mm lengths x 500 mm high with the ability of interconnecting to produce custom water screen lengths from 2 metres to any length at all and has a total of 360 water droplet heads.  These panels are then suspended at any height between 4 metres to 10 metres.

Visual Liquid can be customized to meet whatever its user desires. The system which can display falling water images, text and other types of water effects comprises of three major components:

• A water management system, which controls the flow of water to maintain consistent water-based effects.
• A central computer system, which manages the complete system, including the storage and the programming of sequences of images to produce complete "shows" or a series of water effects.
• A series of intelligent droplet controllers, which "pixelate" the falling stream of water.

The software scans a bitmap image and converts the pixels in the image to a code in the water head based on timing the water droplets to form the image.  The result is an ability to exhibit a visual graphic-rich story of designs, shapes, logos, text and the capability to display custom artwork from controlled water droplets, Visual Liquid is one of today's most innovative billboards: "a waterfall billboard".
